Pastors Colin & Rebecca Christian

Colin and Rebecca, along with their four boys, David, Caleb, Josiah and Jordan, came to join us at Kingsthorpe Church of Christ in May 2021.

Colin and his wife Rebecca are in their tenth year of Pastoral Ministry. They have completed Bible College training at ACOM/ Malyon/ Morling/ Melbourne School of Theology and have served in other pastorates in the country and coastal areas. They both love living with their boys in the country and journeying with people where they are. They both are passionate about the truth of God’s Word. They love mentoring and encouraging others to be all they can be in Jesus so they might experience His amazing grace for themselves. They love community. In their spare time, you will find Colin out in a Coffee shop, talking to people, taking photos or reading, tending to his birds/ roses, and you will find Rebecca with a paintbrush or her camera in her hands, thinking of the next piece of art she can pull together. You will also find them out and about in the community locally and further afield running a marketplace ministry in addition to their role here, “Clergy On Call” & Arrow & Knot Ceremonies, was born seeing them both and other Clergy under their supervision officiating many funerals and weddings and caring for the needy and vulnerable in our communities and supporting other churches in seasons of change and transition.  They are both Ordained Ministers with The Southern Cross Association of Churches and Registered Ministers with Churches of Christ Qld. Both look forward to meeting you sometime at Kingsthorpe Church of Christ.
